how to make smores

I was going through old home videos I made a few years ago when i was bored and alone.

for anyone who has ever wondered what girls do in their spare time: this is what girls do in their spare time.

I will NEVER
STOP
LOVING
THIS

I thought I would get sick of this video

but I’ve watched it probably easily 80 times by now, not including the editing process, and it still gets me

Goddamn this is funny.

violaboss:

I’ve seen a lot of curious people wanting to dive into classical music but don’t know where to start, so I have written out a list of pieces to listen to depending on mood. I’ve only put out a few, but please add more if you want to. hope this helps y’all out. :)

stereotypical delightful classical music:

if you need to chill:

if you need to sleep:

if you need to wake up:

if you are feeling very proud:

if you feel really excited:

if you are angry and you want to take a baseball bat and start hitting a bush:

if you want to cry for a really long time:

if you want to feel like you’re on an adventure:

if you want chills:

if you want to study:

if you really want to dance:

if you want to start bouncing in your chair:

if you’re about to pass out and you need energy:

if you want to hear suspense within music:

if you want a jazzy/classical feel:

if you want to feel emotional with no explanation:

if you want to sit back and have a nice cup of tea:

pieces that don’t really have a valid explanation:

pieces that just sound really cool:

if you feel like listening to concertos all day (I do not recommend doing that):

and if you really just hate classical music in general:

a lot of these pieces apply in multiple categories, but I sorted them by which I think they match the most. have fun exploring classical music!

also, thank you to viola-ology, iwillsavemyworld, shayshay526, eternal-cadenza, tropicalmunchakoopas, shadowraven45662, and thelonecomposer for adding on! if you would like to add on your own suggestions, please reblog and add on or message me so I can give you credit for the suggestion!

i have seen tv shows make passive placating attempts to represent geeky, nerdy people and i have felt let down by most of them, but i have never felt so lovingly represented as a nerd as i feel like i have been by ben wyatt, writer of star trek: tng fanfiction, lover of calzones, maker of math puns, model u.n. ambassador, settlers of catan-tournament-for-his-bachelor-party board game aficionado.

probably because being a nerd is not all that ben wyatt is, but because it is only a small slice of what it means to be ben wyatt, loving husband, loyal friend, community-minded government employee who genuinely wants to improve the lives of everyone else around him.  not a joke or a dartboard combination of likely nerdy qualities.

I can’t help this awful energy,
Goddamn right, you should be scared of me.

• Unfriendly reminder that Wanda Maximoff MANIPULATED a man suffering from SEVERE PTSD into doing something horrible which HE was blamed for while NO ONE on his “team” defended him.
• Unfriendly reminder that Steve Rogers knew about the MURDER of Tony Stark’s parents and withheld the information.
• Unfriendly reminder that Steve did this and had the nerve to chastise Tony about KEEPING FUCKING SECRETS.
• Unfriendly reminder that Steve thought he knew better than 117 COUNTRIES, and decided to do what the fuck he wanted.
• Unfriendly reminder that Tony tried to COMPROMISE with Steve and he couldn’t meet him in the middle.
• Unfriendly reminder that his “team” couldn’t trust him even after he had literally risked his life for them TWICE.
• Unfriendly reminder that Natasha BETRAYED Tony even after she called in the Black Panther whom she knew would attack Bucky whereas Tony only called for backup that he knew wouldn’t react violently unless it was needed.
• Unfriendly reminder that people say that Tony (again, a man who suffers from SEVERE PTSD) overreacted after watching the man standing next to him (who is absolutely a victim, but his hands still committed those crimes) MURDER his parents in cold blood, and a man that he considered his friend KNEW about it to protect HIMSELF and his friend.
• Unfriendly reminder that all Tony got after the War was a SHIT TON of problems with the government and a CONDESCENDING letter from the same man who hurt him incredibly both physically and emotionally basically telling him “i’m sorry that you don’t understand that I was right”.
• Unfriendly reminder that Tony was BLAMED for the paralysis his BEST FRIEND now suffers by a man whom Tony had done A LOT for.
• Unfriendly reminded that Tony fucking Stark is treated so horribly in this fandom and he doesn’t deserve it.

Unfriendly reminder that Tony Stark did not create Ultron. The Mind Stone did.

I’m so confused as to what I’m supposed to find upsetting about this. Like I get it looks very industrial, but why is that bad? Did this person used to think that cans of soup were portals to artisan kitchens where teams of chefs hand prepares ya damn alphabet noodles? Is the fact that we live in a society which can deliver fully prepared, non-perishable meals in convenient containers for 99 cents at your local winn Dixie somehow insufficiently fantastic for you?

Whoa. For a second there I though Campbell’s came out with scented candles.
